Lip Fillers Before and After

Are you looking for fuller, plumper looking lips?

If so, lip augmentation, better known as lip fillers (or sometimes hyaluronic acid fillers), is a simple, effective and very common treatment that can help you achieve the full, kissable lips you have been dreaming of.

Here at Allure Aesthetics Ltd in Abergavenny, South Wales, Roisin, the independent nurse prescriber at our skin care and laser clinic, has a wealth of experience and expertise when it comes to lip fillers and our other dermal filler treatments, due to carrying out the lip filler treatment countless times in a safe and highly professional manner to many clients from all areas of South Wales and the South West, with incredible results every single time.

Who are lip fillers for?

The lip filler treatment is very common among both young women, and older women alike, and we welcome gents as well!

These days, young women want luscious, plump lips that help enhance the natural beauty that they already possess. Some of us have naturally thinner lips, while others enjoy accentuating their lips just that little bit more.

As we age, typically around our 30's or 40's, we often notice that our lips become thinner as they lose their natural, full shape. This is due to a localised depletion of collagen. As we age, the rate at which we produce this vital protein begins to rapidly slow down, resulting in our lips becoming thinner. This means women seek lip filler treatment to help restore their youthful plumpness.

What does the lip filler treatment involve?

At our specialist skin care and laser clinic in Abergavenny, South Wales, we can gently inject Juvederm Volift into your lips and around your mouth to help add or restore the volume. Numbing cream is on offer if required beforehand, although the pain is very mild anyway, and the majority of our patients cope with the procedure without a problem, hence them excitedly seeking a top up in the future! Though, it's worth noting that we do use only the highest grade quality lip fillers, meaning treatment results can last up to an impressive 12 months in many cases.

There are many lip fillers on the market, however we choose to use the Juvederm® Volift as this filler is of the highest quality, safety and longevity. The dermal fillers from the Juvederm range are the only hyaluronic acid volumising fillers that are approved by the FDA to last up to one year with one treatment.
