A non-surgical facelift is a fantastic way to rejuvenate the face and create a more youthful, tighter and smoother appearance without the need for dreaded invasive surgery.

Here at Allure Aesthetics Ltd, our dedicated team make use of botox and high grade dermal fillers (hyaluronic acid products like Juvederm), to craft a fresher you. A non-surgical facelift will restore volume deficiency, reduce unwanted fine lines and wrinkles and provide your face with a youthful appearance that turns back the clock.

None of us can escape the natural ageing process, and there are three main characteristics that point to facial ageing. These are a loss of facial volume, skin laxity and the descent of facial soft tissues. We begin to notice signs of ageing as we approach our late 20s, and by our mid-40s the process really begins to speed up. To make matters worse, women can often experience an acceleration of the natural ageing process during menopause, with sagging facial tissues and skin, further development of fine lines and wrinkles and loose skin around the jowels and neck. These are all things many of us would love to combat, and a non-surgical facelift can go a long way to improve many of these negative ageing affects, and can help keep signs of ageing at bay.

If the effects are extreme, then it's likely you would require a surgical facelift from a cosmetic surgeon. Understandably, many patients much prefer the idea of coming along to our bespoke skin care clinic in order to treat the problem areas with non-invasive surgery, especially if it can help to delay any need for full surgery. To determine this, we would need to carefully examine your face during a consultation, so that together we can decide if you would be an ideal candidate for our non-surgical facelift procedure. If you are, then we can discuss how and which non-surgical treatments will be able to accentuate the cheek bones, define your jawline and smooth out any facial lines and wrinkles.

Advantages of a non-surgical facelift

The main benefit of choosing a non-surgical facelift procedure is the rapid recovery time, along with the minimal risks that are involved. Of course, naturally improving the appearance of the face, combating a loss of elasticity in the skin and reducing any fines lines and wrinkles are all benefits that you will experience by undergoing this procedure.

Below, we have listed a few of the other benefits that you would experience:

  • Personalised approach to sculpted rejuvenation, so that we achieve a beautifully natural appearance.

  • You only need to refrain from strenuous exercise for about 1 week.

  • You can resume most daily activities immediately.

  • You will only experience minor swelling and bruising, and this usually fades and subsides within a couple of weeks.

  • The entire procedure can be performed within an average of 45 minutes, though each individual case will be different.

What is recovery like after a non-surgical facelift?

Non-surgical facelifts are extremely straight forward and very rarely will any negative issues be experienced. The risk, recovery and downtime is very minimal with this non invasive procedure, but the results can still be fantastic.

You are unlikely to experience any significant pain, and most clients claim that the procedure is far more comfortable than they would have ever expected. Some of the non-surgical procedures that we use do require the use of local anaesthetics or over the counter pain medication, but it would be very rare for a patient to experience an uncomfortable amount of pain.

The downtime is usually very minimal, and more often than not a few hours is enough to feel well enough to resume daily activities. You are likely to experience some temporary swelling, redness and mild bruising but this will return to normal with a week or two.

Risks, though very rare indeed, do include lumps, bumps, above moderate redness and pigmentation changes. If you happen to experience any of these effects, do feel free to contact the clinic or pop in to see us and we will be more than happy to take a look at you and offer advice.

Is a non-surgical facelift ever unsuitable?

If your facial ageing includes drooping jowels along your jawline and skin laxity of the neck, then it is possible that results would be very modest following a non-surgical facelift. In some instances, cosmetic surgery is the only option, or indeed an option that would provide greater results.

During your initial consultation, our aim will be to learn of your hopes and expectations, before providing you with an honest assessment with complete clarity, so that you are fully aware of what can be achieved and what would be difficult or impossible to achieve. We want you to be incredibly happy with the final results, so if we feel what we can achieve is substandard in comparison to a surgical procedure, then you will be made fully aware and you'll find yourself in a much better and informed position to make the correct decision.

The last thing we want is for you to be disappointed with your results.

A non-surgical facelift is primarily used to create volume rejuvenation of the face, so it is a procedure that is usually best suited to those who are not yet experiencing significant ageing, but who have developed noticeable ageing characteristics. If soft tissues and removal of excess skin is required, then a non-surgical facelift is unlikely to be suitable. But we are here to offer expert advice and ensure you are aware of all options that are available to you.
