PRP Platelet Rich Plasma
Hair Restoration

A proven hair loss treatment to regenerate and promote hair growth for both men and women.

Platelet Rich Plasma is one of our most popular treatments for those looking for hair restoration or brighter, plumper skin. PRP can be used for both hair or skin, the treatment uses a patient’s own blood cells to accelerate healing in a specific area, leaving you with age-defying results!

Platelet-rich plasma consists of two elements: the liquid portion of blood known as plasma, and platelets, which are a type of blood cell. Platelets are responsible for the clotting process of your blood but they also play an important role in healing throughout your body. They contain growth factors that trigger cell reproduction and stimulate tissue regeneration, which is what supports the healing process. By stimulating the presence of stem cells, platelets can repair damaged tissue. It is these stem cells that can then improve the quality of your skin so that it looks younger and plumper.

Platelet-rich plasma is simply blood that contains more platelets than normal.

Our medically trained nurses here at Allure, take your own blood and prepare it using the Cellenis PRP system, that rapidly spins the sample, separating out the other components of the blood from the platelets and concentrating them within the plasma. This platelet-rich plasma is full of healthy growth factors, otherwise known as liquid gold. Armed with your very own PRP liquid gold, our nurse can provide you with various treatments, improving a whole host of conditions for your skin or hair.

Other PRP Treatments

PRP treatments seemed to grow in popularity after Kim K's famous 'Vampire Facial' episode aired, where she revealed one of the aesthetic industry's ultimate anti-aging treatments.

Although a sought-after treatment for hair restoration, because of the regeneration properties of PRP treatment, it makes sense that it's used as an age-reversing treeatment for the skin too.

PRP Skin Boosters

Our most popular PRP treatment, where we draw blood from your arm, separate the platelets and then use our Concerto Mesogun to inject them into your skin directly. This ensures we inject the plasma rich platelets into the perfect depth for optimal skin rejuvenation.

Vampire Facial

The Vampire Facial, also known as the PRP facial, includes drawing blood from your arm, separating the platelets, and then pushing them into your skin via tiny holes, or channels, formed via Microneedling. Yes, this is the type of facial made famous by “Kim K”.

Frequently asked questions

Does Microneedling hurt?

Before your Derma FNS dermal needling treatment, a topical anaesthetic cream can be applied to numb the skin. Comfortable pressure on the skin and the movement of the Derma FNS may be felt during treatment.

Where can you treat with the Derma FNS pen?

The Derma FNS can be used to treat the face for acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles and skin rejuvenation. Unlike dermaroller treatments, the Derma FNS has the advantage of being able to treat the upper lip and smokers lines, as well as crows feet around the eyes. It can also be used on the body to improve the appearance of stretch marks or scars.

How long will my results last?

The results from a Derma FNS dermal needling treatment are permanent, as the skin has been regenerated and repaired, however fine lines and wrinkles will still re-appear eventually, due to the natural ageing process. The results following a course of treatments will be more noticeable than those from a single treatment session.

How long does PRP take to perform?

Depending on the number and location of areas being treated, most procedures will be completed in 30 – 45 minutes.

What areas can be treated with PRP for skin rejuvenation?

Commonly treated areas include around the eyes, the jaw line, cheeks forehead, nasolabial lines, marionette lines and neck.

What is Plasma?

Plasma is the clear liquid part of the blood remaining once all other cellular components are removed. Plasma carries out many functions in the body including fighting diseases, healing and hydration. During PRP treatment the plasma is used to suspend a high concentration of your own platelets.

What Are Platelets?

Platelets are small cells in the blood that contain a high number of growth factors that help to heal injured tissue or damaged skin. Platelets are required for blood clotting.

How do you administer PRP?

There are various techniques that can be used, depending on the treatment you opt for. We can use a Microneedling method, such as the Derma FNS pen, injections or a specialst mesogun.
