Blog | The Tattoo Removal Experience...

Are you looking to remove an unsightly tattoo? Does your tattoo no longer represent who you are today?

Our Nanosure laser technology removes 95% of tattoos, results are also visible after just one session! It’s effective at removing lots of colours, but blue and green tend to be a little more difficult to remove. We can also remove unsighlty semi-permanent make up too!

So how does it work?

The Nanosure laser is delivered over the area where the tattoo is, following the design and then the energy from the laser is selectively absorbed by the colour in the tattoo. This creates heat and shatters the ink into tiny particles. The body’s immune system then picks up these shattered particles and takes them through the lymphatic system over the following days and weeks, causing fading of the tattoo.

Will I notice a difference straight away?

Immediately after the treatment it will look as though the ink has completely disappeared. Unfortunately, this isn’t the case, and is just a gas that is released off the skin from the laser. Skin usually comes back to normal a few minutes after your session.

We usually recommend 6-12 sessions, however, depending on the depth, colour, and area that the ink is, this can sometimes take more sessions.

You will however notice a difference in colour fading even after just one session, until eventually there is no more ink in the area!

Does it hurt?

OK we’ll be honest, it’s not the most comfortable treatment to have! Pain wise, it feels like you’re being flicked with a hot elastic band, but most people say it’s less painful than getting the tattoo done in the first place. Technology has come a long way since tattoo removal first started!

Tattoo removal is also quite affordable, costs start from £100 per session. A course is usually recommended and starts from as little as £280 for 4 sessions! That’s just £70 a treatment.

What about scarring?

The laser light is designed to leave your healthy skin cells alone. This means that the potential for scarring is low (provided the recommended aftercare is followed).
